Written to replace a manual billing system, which is common in industries that pay piecework. The coding system used specific Primary ‘base’ codes to be used as the foundation for secondary sequential coding.
Originally built when fleet vehicle tracking was neither reasonable nor easy for a medium-sized company, it acts as a data consolidation tool between reported mileage and actual mileage. Data was originally compiled by support staff requiring a minimum of 32 hours a week. Client claims this software saved them close to quart of a million dollars via fraud detection over its five years of use.
